DRIVER OPERATOR 1A-DRIVING (CA State Certified)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course meets the technical and driving requirements established by the State Fire Marshal for fire emergency vehicles. Topics include state code requirements for emergency vehicles, fire apparatus specifications and design, construction features, performance factors, basic inspection and maintenance of fire apparatus, and driving and placement exercises of pumpers. MAX ENROLLMENT 25

Prerequisite: Student must have a valid CA Class B license. (Submit proof with registration form)

DATES: November 15-19 -- Last day to cancel with refund is 10.28.10

TIME: 0830-1730

LOCATION: Heartland Fire Training Facility, 1301 N. Marshall Ave, El Cajon CA, last day at Miramar College.

Students must have their Miramar College Admission application on file prior to class (www.sdmiramar.edu); mandatory college registration for this course will take place in class on first day.
College enrollment fees are NOT included in fee listed below.
