DRIVER OPERATOR 1A-DRIVING (CA State Certified)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  This course meets the technical and driving requirements established 
by the State Fire Marshal for fire emergency vehicles.  Topics include state code requirements 
for emergency vehicles, fire apparatus specifications and design, construction features, 
performance factors, basic inspection and maintenance of fire apparatus, and driving and 
placement exercises of pumpers.

Student must have a valid CA Class B license.  (Submit proof with registration form)

Students must have their Miramar College Admission application on file prior to class 
(www.sdmiramar.edu); mandatory college registration for course will take place on first day IN class.
